Farmers endure Mafia threats over seized land
Cooperatives using land seized by Italy’s government from the Mafia since 1996 say they are still threatened by group.

Under a law passed in 1996, Italy’s government seized thousands of hectares of land from the Mafia and redistributed it for public use.
In some areas, cooperatives have been formed to build farms on the land, but the Mafia continues to threaten people using the areas.
Al Jazeera’s Dominic Kane reports from Sicily.
