Millions put faith in Mexico’s St Death
Authorities and the Catholic church battle against a cult, whose followers have been linked to violence.

Catholicism is by far the dominant religion in Mexico, but the cult of Santa Muerte, or Saint Death, is quickly gaining followers. Millions including drug traffickers are asking for her protection.
The church calls it a Satanic cult.
Al Jazeera’s Adam Raney met some of those putting their faith in the controversial Saint.
