Thousands of scientists and activists are in Australia to discuss the biggest challenges in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
In the Philippines, health experts have given warning that the number of cases has reached epidemic levels in their country.
According to the latest data, one new HIV case is reported in the country every two hours.
Al Jazeera’s Jamela Alindogan reports from Manila.
