Kyrgyzstan considers anti-gay law

Kyrgyzstan’s parliament is considering passing a new law that would make it a crime to talk publicly about homosexual rights.
 
Gays and lesbians in the country say government policies are targeting them and report widespread abuse by police.

Officials say that homosexuality goes against the religious values of the Muslim-majority country.
