Elderly protesters seize China apartments

Protesters gave up farmland 20 years ago for apartments to be built but say authorities failed to find them homes.

A group of elderly protesters in China are defying a government demand to leave a block of apartments they seized last month.

The protesters say local authorities broke a promise they made 20 years ago to provide them with new homes for giving up the land the apartments were built on.
