China seeks bigger footprint in South Sudan
Beijing to send more UN peacekeepers to African state to protect its own oil interest.

The UN has peacekeepers in 16 missions around the world including in South Sudan.
China has agreed to help in that young nation’s security, promising to contribute 850 soldiers.
China is taking an increasingly diplomatic role in the country, as well as trying to protect its own commercial interests.
Al Jazeera’s Anita McNaught reports from the South Sudanese capital of Juba.
