Brazil’s World Cup faces security breaches

Tournament organisers struggle to keep ticketless Chilean football fans out of Rio de Janeiro’s Maracana stadium.

Brazil’s World Cup has already shown the lengths fans are prepared to go to follow their team and not all of them are entirely legal.

A large group of mainly Chilean fans stormed into Rio de Janeiro’s Maracana stadium ahead of their game against Spain. And that is not the only security problem the tournament’s organisers are facing.
