Dozens of farmers have been holding peaceful protest in the heart of Yangon in Myanmar’s capital for nearly two months, trying to get back their land that was seized by the previous military regime.
Four years ago, such a protest would never have been tolerated. While some view the government’s tolerance of public protests as a sign of reform, others are less convinced.
