Jeremy Clarkson, a British presenter on a TV programme called Top Gear, has issued an apology after video footage was released of him allegedly using a racial slur.
Clarkson denied that he said the slur during a filming of the BBC programme and released a video on Twitter to defend himself and apologise.
The situation ignited a storm of controversy and raised questions about racism in British society.
