Thailand’s tourism sector is estimated to have lost nearly $3bn dollars because of an ongoing political crisis.

The country’s economic future looks bleak after seven months of political unrest, with a million fewer people visiting this year than the last.

Analysts are warning that foreign businesses are holding back from investing because of continuing political uncertainty.
