New US cancer treatment offers hope
Doctors say broad clinical trials needed after massive measles dose sends blood cancer into “complete remission”.

Doctors in the US say a woman with “incurable” blood cancer is now in complete remission after they fought disease with disease: they gave her a massive dose of the measles.
The case still has to be followed up by broader clinical trials, but the breakthrough at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is offering new hope.
