Taliban targets schoolgirls in Pakistan

During the two years the armed group ruled the northern region, more than 400 schools were destroyed.

Three primary schools have been blown up in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

No one was in the buildings at the time of the explosions early on Thursday.

When the Taliban ruled Pakistan’s northern Swat valley it targeted schools.

But many have since been rebuit after the military pushed the Taliban out.
