UK urged to tackle throwaway food culture
MPs say urgent action is needed to cut the amount of produce bought and then binned by the British.

An influential group of British politicians say more must be done to cut the amount of food the country wastes.
And they have criticised supermarkets for using “buy one get one free” offers to get rid of surplus stock, which is then often thrown away by customers.
