Kenyan government cracks down on refugees
Authorities accuse Somali refugees of supporting armed group al-Shabab as pressure mounts over insecurity in country.

Security forces in Kenya have intensified their crackdown on refugees, with the government accusing some of supporting the Somali armed group al-Shabab.
It comes after the death of a Muslim leader who was a vocal supporter of the group.
Al-Shabab is being blamed for several recent attacks, including one on a Church in Mombasa.
The Kenyan government recently ordered all refugees living in urban areas to return to their camps in a bid to end attacks by armed groups carried out in retaliation for Kenya’s intervention in neighbouring Somalia.
