Algerians to head to polls amid divisions

Algerians will be heading to the polls on Thursday to choose a new president. Incumbent Abdelaziz Bouteflika, 77, is running for a fourth term. His rival, Ali Benflis, has warned an “army” of supporters will monitor the vote to prevent fraud.
