Acid attacks on Colombia’s women growing
Authorities are set to restrict sale of acids that are used as a weapon against women after a high-profile case.

At least five people have been attacked with acid in Colombia over the past two weeks. Until now, authorities have done little to address the problem.
But a high-profile case in the capital Bogota has pushed the government into restricting acid sales, and increasing penalties.
