Crimean city declares allegiance to Russia, despite Ukraine PM describing breakaway movement as illegal.

Ukraine’s prime minister has described Crimea’s breakaway movement as illegal and unconstitutional.

A referendum will be held on March 16 asking the people to decide whether they want to remain with Ukraine or join Russia.

Al Jazeera’s Paul Brennan reports from the Crimean city of Sevastapol, which has already declared its allegiance to Moscow.
