Meet the ‘chicken from hell’
US paleontologists describe dinosaur that lived 68 million years ago as a fearsome animal that could rip prey to pieces.

A new dinosaur which lived on earth more than 60 million years ago has been discovered.
Scientists in the US describe the creature as a cross between an emu and a crocodile.
It stood more than 1.5 metres tall, weighed around 200kg, had a beak, no teeth, claws and was covered in feathers.
Because of its appearance, the dinosaur has been nicknamed “the chicken from hell”.
