Syria’s civil war lays waste to heritage city
Rebels in Aleppo say they will keep fighting President Bashar al-Assad despite much of their city lying in ruins.

Three years into Syria’s civil war, much of the historic city of Aleppo lies in ruins. Many people have fled the violence, but others have stayed and say they will continue to fight against President Bashar Al-Assad’s forces.
