GM under scrutiny in US over safety
As car-maker faces tough questions, regulators are accused of having close relationship with corporations.

General Motors is facing fresh questions in the US over the safety of its cars. Among those investigating GM is the US regulatory agency, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
But some argue the agency’s oversight should also be investigated.
