US looks at reducing drug sentences
Sentencing Commission wants to cut average sentence for some drug dealers to reduce financial and human costs.

The Sentencing Commission of the US wants to cut the average sentence for some drug dealers to reduce financial and human costs .The country’s top law officer also backs a proposal to cut jail terms for people caught dealing drug: attorney General Eric Holder believes it will help both socially and financially.
However, not everybody agrees.
