South Sudan refugees could face ‘catastrophe’

Aid agencies in Juba warn that flooded camps caused by heavy rains could create a catastrophic situation for refugees.

At least a million people have fled the fighting between the forces of South Sudanese President Salva Kiir and his former deputy Riek Machar.

Now thousands of people living in refugee camps have to confront another challenge – early rains. It has flooded their shacks and aid agencies warn the situation could become a “catastrophe”.

Al Jazeera’s Anna Cavell reports from a camp in the capital Juba.
