US state battling drug addiction crisis

Governor of Vermont says $2mn worth of heroin and opiates are trafficked into the state every week.

The death of American actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has once again drawn attention to drug addiction in the US. One of the smallest states is struggling to cope with one of the country’s worst addiction rates.
