Teachers take lead on Syrian education

Amid destruction of schools, about 150 students now attend classes in a house in the western city of Homs.

Teachers and activists have turned houses into temporary schools in an attempt to give Syrian children an education.

Around 150 students now attend classes in one house in the western city of Homs. 

Almost three years of war have destroyed many schools in the country, leaving many children without an education.

Al Jazeera’s Omar Al Saleh reports.
