A day of global action is beginning to help free Al Jazeera journalists imprisoned in Egypt.
Colleagues in at least 30 countries world-wide will demand their freedom. And Al Jazeera staff will be taping their mouths shut to symbolise Egypt’s media crackdown.
As part of our special coverage on press freedom today, Al Jazeera’s Jamela Alindogan reports from the Philippines where dozens of journalists have been killed in the past four years.
