Nigerian gay men face increase in attacks

Homosexuality is now illegal in the country and two weeks ago, at least 15 men were attacked in the capital.

Increasing violence against gay men in Nigeria is being blamed on new anti-homosexual laws.

The new law criminalises homosexuals, sending them to jail for up to 14 years. Just two weeks ago, at least 15 men were attacked by a mob in the capital.
