The administration of the US President is facing a legal challenge to its efforts to curb greenhouse gas emissions.
The Supreme Court is to hear arguments by industry groups, who say that Barack Obama is overreaching his executive powers. Critics accused his administration of waging a “war on coal”.
Obama has defended his decision saying the new rules limit dangerous carbon dioxide pollution.
