Torrential rainfall floods towns and villages, damaging ancient landmarks.

Floods have caused chaos across Europe, especially in the UK and Italy, with high winds and heavy rainfall continuing to deluge parts of the continent.
Even though temperatures have not been as low as usual, that has done nothing to stop the weather woes.
Al Jazeera’s Simon McGregor-Wood reports.
