US free-trade deals face opposition

As President Obama seeks to simplify doing business with Mexico and Canada, critics see threat to jobs at home.

US President Barack Obama will meet leaders from Mexico and Canada later this week to discuss trade agreements that will make it easier for countries around the Pacific to do business. But back home his critics are warning of potential drawbacks as they say the deal could reduce the number of jobs within the US.
