Mother of Taliban victim hopeful on talks

Pakistani mother tells Al Jazeera how violence has affected her family, and hopes talks bring peace.

The Pakistani government has said it would not resume negotiations with the Taliban until the armed fighters agree to a ceasefire.

Negotiations were suspended on Monday after a faction of the armed group said it had killed 23 soldiers held hostage since 2010.

Many people in Pakistan have lost relatives during years of deadly violence.

Al Jazeera’s Osama Bin Javaid met one mother who lost her son in the violence in South Waziristan.
