Philippine police struggle with gun violence
Despite laws passed to tighten gun ownership, corruption within the police force is fueling the illegal gun trade.

Families of gun violence victims are urging the Philippine government to impose a total ban on firearms.
The call comes after a wave of new shootings, despite a new law passed last May, which the government said would make one of Asia’s most dangerous countries for gun violence safer.
