Ukraine’s stalemate prompts currency plunge
As anti-government protests drag on in already struggling former Soviet state, its national currency takes a hit.

After three months of protests, the already ailing economy in Ukraine is starting to suffer.
The national currency has plummeted, forcing the central bank to implement a series of emergency measures.
There has been a spike in petrol prices too, fuelling fears that inflation may lie ahead.
