US embassy compound in Tehran stuck in time
Visit to building stormed by revolutionaries 35 years ago reveals relics of a time when US and Iran were friends.

It has been 35 years since Iran’s revolution, which began the souring of ties with the US. One of the iconic moments of the revolution came when protesters stormed the US embassy in Tehran and held its staff hostage.
Al Jazeera has been granted rare access inside that historic compound. Soraya Lennie reports from Tehran.
