Lebanon restricts entry for Syrians

Lebanese government imposes stricter conditions for Syrians crossing border, making it harder for them to flee war.

There are 1.2 million registered Syrian refugees in Lebanon, making up almost a quarter of the country’s population.

The government has recently imposed stricter conditions for Syrians trying to cross the border, saying it can no longer cope.
