Liberia vote turnout low over Ebola fears

Turnout for parliamentary elections appeared to be low as concerns about Ebola kept many voters at away from ballot box.

The turnout in Liberia’s parliamentary election has been relatively low, as many people decided to stay away because of concerns over the deadly Ebola disease.

The vote had been postponed twice as Liberia struggled to contain the epidemic, which has killed more than 3,000 people in the country.

Al Jazeera’s Kim Vinnell reports.
