ISIL faces Kurdish resistance in Kobane

Syrian Kurdish fighters say they still control the border crossing with Turkey, despite a weekend assault by ISIL.

Kobane has been under attack from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) since September. Around 200,000 people have fled the area around it.
