Iraqi Kurdish forces say they have retaken a vital corridor of territory from Isla,ic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), in the Sinjar Mountains.
While fighting continues, thousands of minority Yazidis displaced and trapped by the fighting, can now get out.
