Cooperation key to peace in Yemen city

Local officials, politicians and civilian Houthi figures credited with insulating Taiz from violence roiling the nation.

Shia Houthi fighters are pushing for more control of central and northern Yemen. Despite the violence there are parts of the Arabian Peninsula country where peace prevails.

Cooperation between local authorities, politicians and the civilian Houthi leadership is keeping the city of Taiz peaceful.
