Austrian Muslims reel from police raids

Some say they are being treated with suspicion after arrest of suspects recruiting people to fight in Syria.

Some Muslims in Austria have said that they are being treated with suspicion after a massive police operation that saw mosques, prayer rooms and homes raided.

Last Friday, 14 suspects were arrested for allegedly recruiting young people to fight in Syria.

Efforts to deal with the situation has put Austria at a crossroads in its relations with its Muslim community– potentially shattering a harmonious bond that has existed for more than a century.
