Thai army adds virtues to school curriculum

The new school year in Thailand, the first since a military coup in May, began this week.

The military government has added twelve virtues of being Thai to new school curriculum.

Teachers have been trained on how to enshrine principles like being grateful to parents in the minds of their pupils.

But not all students agree with these changes, with some seeing it as the army trying to control how they think and behave.
