Yemeni city landmarks fall on hard times

Clock known as Big Ben and French poet Arthur Rimbaud’s house just two of Aden’s many buildings badly in need of repair.

Yemen’s southern city of Aden was once a vibrant cultural centre. But the city’s landmarks, such as the British colonial-era clock known as Big Ben and the house of French poet Arthur Rimbaud, have fallen into disuse and badly need repair.
