Deforestation in Argentina disrupts lives
Activists say the process of deforestation which began in northern Argentina can destroy the forest within 50 years.

Environmental groups in Salta have been protesting against massive deforestation plans in which the government intends to clear the way for agriculture.
The Argentinian government has denied accussations, but activists continue their campaigns using methods such as sit-in’s and camping.
The Wichi community in Salta number just a few thousand, and rely majorly on these forests to make a living through hunting and gathering.
Al Jazeera’s Daniel Schweimler reports from Salta.
