Conflict hits Pakistan pine nut industry

Military campaign in northern region takes toll on pine nut growers and traders in country known for producing staple.

Pakistan produces pine nuts known for their unique taste in some 20 percent of its forests.

But a long military campaign in the northern region along the Afghan border has made things difficult for both growers and traders and taken a heavy toll on the industry.
