Mainlanders in Hong Kong assess city’s strife

Some mainlanders now living in the city say they are surprised at how tolerant authorities have been over the protests.

With roads blocked and rush hour traffic at a standstill as protests continue in Hong Kong, for many residents their patience is wearing thin.

Moreover, for some mainlanders now living in the city it is a wonder that the authorities would tolerate the scenario.
