Outrage over long-serving Burkina Faso leader
Opposition to Blaise Compaore grows as the president, in power for 27 years, looks set to seek another term.

The president of Burkina Faso, Blaise Compaore , has been in power for 27 years. He is one of the longest serving heads of state in West Africa and his party wants him to stand for another five year-term.
That has outraged a growing opposition.
