Libya oil exports continue despite violence

At least 130 people have been killed in the past 10 days in Libya’s second-largest city Benghazi.

More fighting between tribesmen and forces loyal to former general Khalifa Haftar have besieged the towns of Kikla and Qalaa.

This comes as many people in the capital city of Tripoli ignore calls for a campaign of civil disobedience from a rival parliament based in eastern Tobruk.

But despite the violence, Libya’s oil exports have not been affected. It’s the only source of income for the war-torn nation.
