US diplomat travels to Ebola-hit West Africa
Samantha Power arrives in Guinea as part of regional tour aimed at increasing support against the disease’s spread.

Samantha Power, the US ambassador to the UN, has arrived in Guinea, beginning a West Africa tour to increase international support against the Ebola outbreak.
Power said more needs to be done to combat the the deadly virus. But she also criticised how US authorities are treating American medical professionals returning from the region.
