Many Syrian refugees who fled conflict in their homeland have endured deplorable conditions in camps that were meant to help them.
In a refugee camp in the Golan Heights, a region occupied by Israel, Syrians say they escaped bombardment only to find more despair, suffering from a severe lack of food, water and medical treatment.
