Ukrainians see hope in decisive election

Voters hope election will bring stability to the country and stop violence that has plagued the east.

Ukraine is preparing for its first parliamentary election since street protests last year forced Viktor Yanukovich from the presidency.

With clashes in the east showing no sign of abating, some are hoping the elections will bring some semblance of stability to the country.

Al Jazeera’s Barnaby Phillips reports from Kiev.
