Iraq’s bomb squad: clearing the path ahead

Iraq army offensive to take back ISIL-controlled territory north of Baghdad marred by roadside bombs and explosives.

Roadside bombs and other explosive devices are one of the many challenges Iraqi soldiers face while trying to take back territory from ISIL.

The troops have launched a major offensive to take Tikrit and Baiji, which their bomb disposal unit hopes to aid by clearing the way.
